A 7-year-old girl from Vietnam and a 15-year-old boy from Beirut are the
Bulgarian symbols of the Communist internationalism in full play. These are
"children of drujba“, born in countries struggling for their independence and
socialism, nurtured and brought up in socialist Bulgaria. With the fall of the
Berlin Wall and the collapse of socialism, these "children“ have been forced to grow up quickly and decide whether to return to their native countries or to be lifetime emigrants.
